TDE Credit: Rule changes and guidance

There are a couple of points around TDE credits that need to be addressed:

TDE credits are earned in news forums and for game reaction and buildups. If posting in one of these areas please bear in mind the following:

1."code" tags

These do not remove credits from posts. Therefore anyone posting any information that is readily available or easily calculable from data available on the site MUST post it in "QUOTE" tags rather than "CODE". If you do use code it must be within a quote (you can do this to help formatting)

This information includes but may not be limited to:
Players
Players and what they will be after any abs are added
Finances
Finances including any adjustments
Rules
Anything already published in any other forum

Not using the correct tags will see credits removed for the entire post and in extreme cases, a manager will have their credits set to 0.


2. Use of ChatGPT

It is obvious that managers have started using ChatGPT to write news articles. We are not banning this as long as "reasonable usage" is adhered to. This includes:

- Not writing extremely long rambling articles.
- Writing articles about the game only - don't use a load of real life stats that CHatGPT has blatantly researched for you
- Do not overuse it - if you only post ChatGPT articles and nothing else or post multiple per day this will be frowned upon
- Not doing anything else that the admin may construe as abuse of the system.

In this the admin decision is final. Any posts found to be in contravention of these guidxelines will have credits removed. In extreme cases, a manager's credits will be reset to 0

If ChatGPT continues to be abused, it will be banned full stop.


3. Credits to cash

The credits to cash system is there to allow you to get out of debt or for a small increase. It is not to fund auctions.

- With immediate effect, there will be a limit of 75 million credits to cash allowed for this season.
- This will be reduced to 50 million for next season



These rules and guidelines take effect from now so there is no retrospective action to be taken on anything that contrevenes them

REMINDER:

If you are posting info that is readily available in the site such as players stats you MUST use "QUOTE" Tags around your "CODE" tags. And you must use those - you can't leave them out entirely.

I have just noted 3 news threads where this has not been done whilst other managers are doing it so it's a bit unfair at this stage on those that are doing it correctly.
